GROTESQUE PERVERTED SLAUGHTER is a little too disjointed to be a truly great pinku film, though it really did have the potential. The storyline, though nothing original was decent enough, and a few scenes in the second half of the film were pretty strong. Unfortunately, a few major problems hindered this one from being a REALLY good film - instead only turning out to just be a decent film.
A man is cheating on his wife with a very obsessive gal. When the man tries to cool off the relationship, homegirl ain't havin' it and pays two local yakuza thugs to rape the wife in order for her to "lose face" in the eyes of her husband. The mistress then confronts the wife, and a fight ensues leaving the mistress dead. The wife dismembers the mistress, but never disposes of the body. Husband comes home and notices the strange smell, so wife changes the topic by telling the husband that she's pregnant, and the audience is left to determine whether the child is his, or the product of the rapists...
I liked the bleak ending of GROTESQUE PERVERTED SLAUGHTER - and the second half of the film, where the mistress starts getting insanely jealous was cool too - but the first half hinders the film. Much of that portion of the film is taken up with protracted and frankly dull soft-core sex scenes, and of the mistress whining about how she wants the husband to leave his wife. Also - this film has THE MOST horribly inept subtitling in any film ever made. I didn't base any of my rating on this fact, but it's true. A relatively solid pinku entry - just not the best of the genre. Worth a look to pinku fans...7/10
