Khan returns to Birmingham where he works against a new triad threat along with American Sarah Gant. Rafiq does a deal with Shen Tan to import heroin. Kline finds some Chinese script which sees Ann kidnapped by Tan.
Kline and Anne escape Shen Tang and start to plan the opening of their new restaurant. Tang's psychotic daughter Lily takes over her father but her attempt to fire bomb the restaurant fails but captures Anne.
Sarah Gant buys Ann's debt off the Triads but needs Kline for heroin deal with Shen Tang. That deal is thwarted by Rafiq on Khan's orders and Kuldip released from jail. Shen Tang is assassinated so Lily plans her revenge.
Khan arrests Rafiq and forces him to spy on the triads while he forces Kuldip to watch him on his old boss. Ann Darracott walks on on Kline, to find a normal job, after he beds Sarah Gant. Kline and Khan walk into a triad trap.
Khan is fitted up for the murder of Yang. Lily saves Kline's life and forces him into an unlikely alliance with Rafiq and Kuldip. Their first act is to steal the triad's heroin delivery but in return they bring in "White Devil".
Lily opens up her first opium transport to New York. John Kline dies under mysterious circumstances. Iqbal Khan and Ann trade Lily's operation to Sarah Gant for the release of his son. Rafiq and Kuldip become DOA informers.
