Trash Program was another of those mediocre Paramount cartoons made in the '60s

Warning: Spoilers
Just watched this Paramount Modern Madcap cartoon on the DailyMotion site. The lead character is a garbage man whose wife doesn't appreciate him especially since she ends up constantly washing all the clothes! So he goes to school to become a better class trash man but the wife still doesn't appreciate him since he even smells worse. So he becomes a captain which impresses her enough that she goes with him on a boat. Guess what kind of boat that turns out to be?...As you've probably figured out from the synopsis above, this was a pretty depressing short cartoon to watch. However, there was one sequence where the garbage teacher demonstrates how to spread some garbage on the ground since that's the sort of thing high class neighbors expect that got me laughing for a little bit. Other than that, Trash Program wasn't a very good cartoon and I'd only recommend it if you're curious about these latter-day Paramount cartoons.
