Toby the Milkman was a pretty funny cartoon from Charles Mintz' studio

Just watched this Charles Mintz Toby the Pup cartoon for RKO on YouTube. In this one, the title character gets some milk from a cow's udder ("Udder what?" is what Lou Costello would say) for the first few inches of the bottles before filling the rest of them with water. Then he and his horse would deliver the stuff at various houses. Toby throws one that breaks but the house owner would get the spilled milk in his flit spray container. He throws another that comes back to hit him so he just puts an anchor on it to keep it from boomerang back again. Then Toby throws one that spills contents but that bottle licks those! And then he signals some steps to come to him-which they do-where he puts one more bottle. After his horse shows him his watch, Toby drops the other glass bottles-which of course spill all over-as he gets ready for a night on the town and the horse sleeps. (Even his pupils are drowsy as we see both pulling up the covers on their beds!) The Pup drives through a storm-though the rain is shown falling around him-before he arrives to a dance. From there it's mainly Toby dancing with a large pig lady before the short ends...This was a pretty funny cartoon of the kind you'd only expect from the '30s what with the moving inanimate objects and little creatures doing stuff on humans-like those little mice playing xylophones inside someone's shoe. Some info about similar things happening in Flip the Frog and Mickey Mouse cartoons were printed in asides on screen in the version I watched. So on that note, I'd give Toby the Milkman a look.
