This is the basic "A Star Is Born" plot. Krazy is directing a kind of Broadway review. He is instructing the chorus line and struggling to get them to function properly. Eventually they get it. Outside the theatre, Kitty Kat is trying to get in and show her stuff. Krazy will have none of it. Soon the star, Fifi the Frog shows up but while rehearsing, Kitty Falls on her an she is unable to sing. Now Kitty must go on. It's a plot as old as the hills. The problem here is that there is little interesting or new. Even the usual upbeat nature of the cartoons is waning. It is also interesting that the episode takes place in 1940 but the episode was produced in 1934.
