Janus Rainer, either a fictitious alter ego of porn maven David Christopher or an inept b&d specialist, foisted AMAZON ISLAND on the public 30 years ago and it definitely lowered the bar for dubious porn standards. Try to watch (and listen) if you dare.
For starters, the sound recording is so poor that I had to really strain to hear even a bit of what the cast was saying. A woman goes to detective Mike MacGuffin's office to hire him to search for her 2 long-lost sisters. An inheritance of $60 million is at state and MacGuffin sets out to find them on a desert island, after humping the frumpy looking client in his office.
At this point the video completely falls apart into serious amateurism. A backdrop set purporting to be a submarine (wouldn't qualify for an elementary school play) has the captain looking through his periscope and spotting a brunette girl on the beach with arrows. MacGuffin wades ashore in a wetsuit and is captured by Amanda (ultra-busty blonde Mistress Candice) who trusses him up, ties up his penis and slaps the limp member. She's not billed as Mistress for nothing.
The two gals are of course the missing sisters and they have a whimpering old Man Friday with them on the island, who they abuse (Amanda spits food at him and makes him eat food off her feet, while he only has to lick the sister's improbably fashion-trendy (for a desert island) boots. There's sex and domination/submission with the gals and MacGuffin and briefly a guy in a gorilla suit shows up to be pummeled momentarily by the brunette sister, before that plot ploy is summarily dropped altogether.
Happy ending has MacGuffin back in his office serviced (and punished since we know he likes it) by the brunette and client sister, Amanda having departed apparently for another b&d video shoot elsewhere in NYC,
This garbage has random editing which for students of film might be instructive as auteur Rainer repeats shots, inserts shots out of sequence in the middle of segments and otherwise is as careless a video-maker as I've ever encountered. The sex scenes are terrible (though Candice's natural-looking big breasts offer brief voyeuristic appeal) and the humiliation and punishment absorbed by Christopher as MacGuffin and his unnamed male island supporting player are strictly puerile. Of the cast, Christopher reads his unintelligible lines by rote with zero emotion, while tooth-gapped Candice gives an eyes-bugging-out ham-bone performance. Even watching another of her videos (SECLUDED PASSION) over again for reference, I could not figure out if Dutches Von Stern was playing the brunette or if it was the equally and deservedly obscure Sandy Sunshine, of the 2 unidentified sisters.
