Stupid and cheesy

As often is the case, porn fans are left to enjoy their favorite stars in action, and must suffer with (or ignore) the crummy vehicle in which they appear.

Clearly director John T. Bone had little interest in doing a good job this time out, even though he had better talent than he was stuck with during the next decade when he made many a crummy movie for Metro.

As IMDb's condescending Plot Summary suggests, this is formula cliche porn, dealing with the day before Rachel Ryan and Peter North's marriage. Their best friends, Jeanna Fine and Herschel Savage, have far better roles as sort of bad influences. Namely, Savage arranges for a pair of escorts (obscure performer Melba Cruze and Rene Summers) to service North, while Fine has a couple of dial-a-studs (slumming pair Tom Byron and Mike Horner, hardly the types for such pedestrian roles) visit to service Ryan.

Movie opens with a sex scene for Fine and Savage, with Fine wearing Herschel's navy officer cap: Savage and North are both sailors, pointlessly for this story. Poorly edited, with lousy continuity, an early scene has Tiffany Storm arriving as a prostitute to service North -this segment makes no sense at all, since the pair of escorts ordered up by Savage have not shown up yet.

Original poster for the movie lists Nina De Ponca in the cast, but she doesn't show up at all. Another error has opening credits identifying Alan Bosshardt's character as "Justice of the Peace", but in the movie he knocks on the door and identifies himself as the hotel manager when summoning Ray and Vera to attend the wedding rehearsal, and then he's shown in the silent montage depicting that rehearsal, showing everyone where to stand and what to do, but apparently when preparing the credits someone assumed from that montage that his character was in charge of the actual wedding (which is not shown at all in the movie) and inferred he was conducting the ceremony.

Although there is a nice moment on the wedding night when Ryan goes from her wedding gown to put on something else, and emerges in a beatiful white lingerie -specifically still wearing her bridal veil, romantic music is playing on the soundtrack, but when she and North get down to humping it reverts to cheesing, blaring porn music. Anything to insult the audience.

Reissued much later as a DVD by Western Visuals, in 2009, retitled "Bridezillas in Heat", with misleading copy on the DVD liner implying multiple brides in action. Front cover of the box erroneously lists John Stagliano and Sharon Mitchell as the stars with Mitchell pictured, but back liner has proper cast list.
