This is a very cute and cuddly little thing, this short is. Nice pastoral music, cute little bird, cute little dragon-looks like a real Barney kind of moment. But looks can be deceiving. Marv Newland is smiling somewhere. As Newton once said, "For every action, there is an equal yet opposite reaction." To which I would add the Law of Unintended Consequences: for every action, there are unforseen results which carry unforseen and unplanned consequences. I love this cartoon! Well worth the effort to locate, by all means! Most highly recommended.

This has to be one of the cutest and funniest (while somewhat twisted) animated shorts I have ever seen. Thank you Spike (Keep up the work!) and Mike (God rest his soul) for bringing these animations to the public so people like us can see them!
Just look for it... find it... see it!

In grade 8, we did a film unit, and our teacher showed us Snookles. It tells the sad story of a cute baby dragon trying to make friends with a musical bird in a tree. The movie starts off a little slowly, but by around half way in (4 or 5 seconds in), you'll be laughing like there's no tomorrow. Another final joke rewards at the end for sitting through the credits. I definitely recommend this film, especially for a bunch of 8th graders! Fine Holiday Fun!
