Jose Benazeraf stands alongside Max Pecas as one of France's best pornographers back in the Golden Age, but this 1983 production (classified as 1985 by IMDb due to release date) shows him fully switched to the wall-to-wall sex approach that has reduced Adult Cinema to nothingness in the past few decades.
Entire show is set on a yacht, with big-shot Alban Ceran apparently the owner, chomping on a cigar smugly before the sex commences, and stalwart star Gabriel Pontello presumably the skipper. There's only brief dialog as Gabe introduces M. Chiriac (Alban's role) to Sophie (Moon) and an orgy lasting nearly an hour commences.
Shot on film, the under 60 minutes running time betrays this as a video release not a cinema feature, and all it has going for it is the outdoor sex angle and the scenic "Purple Noon" setting of boat on an ocean. I'm certain that auteur Jose saw the Rene Clement/Patricia Highsmith classic starring Alain Delon at his peak, but he didn't learn anything from it. Bareback sex is perfunctory and continuity poor.
