An advocate of how true capitalism worked
zzmale7 April 2004
This movie made in the early era of the Chinese reform is not only an advocate of reform, but also a teacher in that it teaches how the true capitalism worked.

Due to the decades of political movements in China such as the Cultural Revolution, the Chinese general public had a misconception about capitalism, believing that in capitalism, making money is the most important thing and anything is acceptable, including cheating, such as selling the food that already expired by pretending it is fresh and new.

This movie did a good job in pointing out that this is not how capitalism works, you must be honest to earn the trust of the clients and that is how you make money.
