Trivia The story is based on the life experience of the director as a little boy. See more »
Goofs When the film opens within the first few seconds after the credits have finished there are boys swimming mostly nude in the pool/bath. The boys are jumping in and out and some even do flips in to the fool. A child of about 10 does a flip but he does so just outside the pool edge and nearly if not slightly hits his head on the pool edge. Another boy about 11 appears to step out of character for a second to ask if he is OK. Apparently he is and the boys continue to play and there doesn't seem to be any type of stoppage in the film. This is a very close call which could have been very tragic. See more »
