Did You Know?
Trivia | Richard Widmark was apparently very uncomfortable with some of the racist comments his character, Ray Biddle, made, especially given his friendship with Sidney Poitier. As a result, after some of the takes involving particularly venomous remarks, Widmark apologized to Poitier. See more » |
Goofs | The Deputy asks Dr. Brooks if he's going to need any instruments, and he replies, "You keep them locked up." The deputy's answer is, "This ain't no maternity ward, doc" implies they can be used by any criminal as weapon against the staff. However, they are not locked in a secure cabinet in a nondescript room; they're locked in cases with glass doors that line the hallway of the ward - cases that could easily be smashed, giving access to instruments that could be used as weapons. Quotes |
Edie Johnson:

I used to live in a sewer and now I live in a swamp. All those babes do it in the movies. By now I ought to be married to the governor and paying blackmail so he don't find out I once lived in Beaver Canal. See more » |
