Storyline
Plot Summary |
Gérard Favier, a famous pianist and composer, and his wife Sylvia, with whom he is very much in love, meet Monelle, a young, pretty, talented pianist and fervent admirer of Favier. The musician takes the young girl under his wing and propels her towards success. One day, a tabloid newspaper announces that the composer and his young protegee are having an affair. The information is false, but Monelle begins to dream. Although he loves her very much, Gerard is very embarrassed and tries to push away what looks like advances on her part. Sylvia, for her part, has doubts. Written by Guy Bellinger |

Trivia | Two ends were shot, a tragic and a happy one. Although the director preferred the tragic one, the producer exploited the version with the happy end for the export. The tragic version was only shown in France leaving the choice to the audience to choose the one they preferred. See more » |
