A fun western from an under-rated star ....
revdrcac9 September 2006
Don "Red" Barry stars in this entertaining cowboy outing released in 1943. Barry, who first rode to fame as Red Ryder, turns in a fun, yet intense performance as a tough lawman who is embraced by a greedy henchman in the town of Cheyenne. The villain underestimates Barry's resolve and independence ------ to his lasting detriment !!

This film surprised me a little...... I had not heard of it before, but found it to be one of my favorite Red Barry films. The humor and action were well-blended. I especially liked the opening, with Barry & sidekick riding fast after being called "chicken-thieves".

All in all, one of the better films of its type. Enjoy this one and relive the memories of the golden west .........
