Trivia | Four years after this film Eddie Albert would join the US Navy. He would achieve the rank of Lieutenant in the Naval reserves. At Tarawa he would go on to save nearly 50 Marines and help with the rescue of 30 others, all while under fire. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his actions. See more » |
