Non-stop is right!!

Despite lacking sound and fancy animation, the Felix cartoons were among the most popular in the world during the 1920s. Much of this is because they have a wacky, surreal sensibility that even today is pretty weird. And, on top of that, they are funny and timeless.

Non-stop is certainly the case with this cartoon! While all of the original Felix cartoons are fast-paced, this one is a good bit faster than usual—with Felix flying from one adventure to another with hardly a break to breath! It's all built around a rather thin plot—Felix wants to win a prize by being the first to Timbuktoo—and so he builds himself an airplane in the most imaginative and cruel way possible. Then, he has adventures in the clouds, the sea and in Africa. As for the Africa part, it certainly is a bit politically incorrect, though I assume no harm was intended. Overall, a very madcap adventure and the sort of cartoon that is hard to dislike.
