Besides being a world class actor, Steve McQueen, nicknamed, 'The King of Cool' was an avid and very accomplished dirt bike racer, as demonstrated in the 1971 Oscar nominated Bruce Brown film, "On Any Sunday". In this short promotional piece for American Honda Motorcycle Corporation, Steve (a.k.a. Harvey Mushman) demonstrates -with great skill- the newest offering for dirt bike enthusiasts: the 1973 Honda CR 250M Elsinore motocross machine. All scenes were shot on location in the Southern California Desert (Palmdale area) and all riding of the Honda motorcycle was done by McQueen himself.
