Benjamin is in an identity crisis after the premature death of his mother. His relationships with his father, his best friend Tim and as well as his girlfriend Lisa manifest themselves as barely sustainable. Bejamin feels adrift and escapes into smoking and drinking. "Daheim" is a story about relationships in which one feels alone and abandoned even with the significant other. It asks about the possibilities and limits of those relations among human beings.
