In modern day Rio De Janeiro, a man is kidnapped. His captor, a vile and violent criminal, grows impatient as prospects of a ransom diminish with time. His accomplice, father of the household, regrets his crime while striving to protect his family at all costs. Both he and the hostage must adapt to survive or die trying.
