Mohammad Johnny Pandey, a defiant writer, resides on the outskirts of a town marred by religious and political turmoil. Compelled to appease various religious factions to survive, he geniously navigates the volatile environment. However, reaching a breaking point, he contemplates ending his life. Just as he prepares to do so, an unexpected visitor arrives seeking help. While the visitor familiarizes themselves with Pandey's survival tactics, a group of rioters repeatedly knocks on his door, intensifying the anxiety of which religious faction will reach him first.
