The immensely successful writer tells his muse and lover that he believes in shrouding the most valuable things - his inclinations, his love and his wealth - from the eyes of the world. When the interviewer who had mocked him on screen gets murdered, a detective knocks on his doorstep asking to have a look but meets with cold refusal cementing his suspicions.
