The Seven Detectives is a fun movie and acting (and editing) experiment. Each actor was given their lines and only their lines. Then they were asked to film their sides on their phone - completely alone. After filming, each actor sent their video clips over to the editor who cut the movie together. As a part of the experiment, the actors were not given any direction, context, or backstory for their character. They also had no idea what the story was about. Choices were made. The plot: Seven detectives arrive on the scene of a crime that must be solved using only their wits. But with this many egos in one room there's bound to be some friction. Will they be able to put aside their differences long enough to solve the case?
