Refering to the traditional romantic cinema of yore, the film searches for the meaning of love in times of facebook. Lulu Du Lac portrays a day in the life of a desperately romantic soul, showing the encounters with "his own" Lulu, and his mysterious friend Lucie. What sets off as an ordinary boy-meets-girl comedy evolves into a deep character study of a troubled man, and his perceptions about love, violence and misanthropy.
