With his wife at home sick, and unable to work, a low-income father struggles to pay the bills. They have an 8-year-old daughter, who has a rare medical condition and desperately needs to come up with the treatment expenses. The father works overtime to help rid his family of financial misfortunes. To add to their stress, the father and mother must deal with a rebellious teenager, headed down the wrong path.
