This is a story of a dedicated doctor Markand Shah (Hiten Kumar), who puts everything at stake to cure his patient Ratna (Sujata Mehta), who is battling mental illness. He goes out of his way to get her the much sought-after acceptance from the society and even marries her. He provides her a 'normal' life, at the cost of even going against his own family and society to an extent.
