Near to You is a coolly detached portrayal of a fragile live-in relationship where domestic rituals are used to disguise their boredom and lack of connection. After a particularly non-communicative morning, Moe goes out for a night of bar-hopping with her best friend. There, she meets a lonely, equally confused young lawyer, and together they struggle to figure out whether or not they've met someone they can relate to.
