It's 1999, and the millennium is about to end. God sends his son, Jesus Christ, back to earth (modern-day Stuttgart, Germany, that is) to evaluate mankind's spiritual progress. Disappointed by the hate and deception he encounters, and humiliated by his old foe Satan, he angrily prepares Judgement Day. The end of the world is nigh - but everything changes when Jesus meets Christa, a single mother, and a tender relationship unfolds. Trying to prevent the Apocalypse he called for, a desperate race against time begins.
