Ram meets Chitralekha on a train journey who suddenly disappears.He then encounters her on many occasions where she claims that they were separated in previous life.Ram believes that Chitralekha is a ghost and wants to take him along.Ram's mother fixes his marriage but on wedding day he is surprised to see that his bride is Chitralekha and refuses to accept her.
