Highly anticipated Sonic the Hedgehog film based on the highly beloved video game franchise from Sega. This film does a lot of things correctly. The model look of Sonic is definitely well done and the voice acting is great. It is equivalent to how we would expect Sonic to sound based on the more updated games and its television series.
James Marsden does a likeable portrayal as the lead character while the other actors are decent enough. Since this is the first film of the franchise and we see the start and origin of the character of Sonic, Marsden is more of the central character as we are learning about his story arc. Of course in the following films we expect the main focus to be on Sonic.
