In this ep, Johnny Cash plays a successful singer not unlike himself who wants to do away with his wife and a teen girl background singer that could get exposed of his relations with the latter if he ever crosses his spouse played here by the legendary Ida Lupino. Their relationship is very loveless as she constantly has him under her thumb. When the deed is done, Lieutenant Columbo is not too far away...With Cash doing what he does best, singing, and then also turning on the charm in trying to fool the LA police detective, he seems to be having the time of his life here, that's for sure! A very entertaining ep. Directed by Nicholas Colasanto later to be best known for playing Coach Ernie Pantusso on "Cheers".
