I loved this movie,as it's story slowly unfolded. I always watch a movie like this,shown on streaming services,without any knowledge of what it's about. Let the story become clearer as it happens. Restrained performance from the lead actor,who is clearly troubled by events from his past,we learn as we go along what they are. Fine performances from all involved,nothing over the top,just acting as people in those situations do. Love rivalry rears it head,and adds a bit of a twist,creates a fear that is understandable when those involved in recent historical conflicts are involved. I honestly cannot understand the amount of negativity in the reviews,this is not a big Hollywood blockbuster,never intended to be. It's an independent kind of low key drama which has a tale to tell,set in a beautiful scenic setting,great accompanying soundtrack when needed,and a fine job done by writer and director. Who also managed to squeeze all his extended family on set to some extent going by the credits LOL.
