As a huge Star Wars fan I was very excited to see Barriss Offer story continue in TOTE as an inquisitor and see how that story goes. Once I finished the show the only thing that crossed my mind was " wtf Dave really!?!". Her death just felt a lil plain in my opinion, I wanted to see her and Vader/Anakin have a insane duel, especially cause Vader would be extra mad with what happened with Ahsoka getting kicked out then leaving, it just would have been a more meaningful death by his hand. There are also now a lot of questions unanswered and leaving fans to wonder if she really is gone and what happens next. There was also a time skip that happened which I thought was cool seeing Old Barriss be wise but also felt rushed and again a lot unexplained.
The first 3 Eps were not that interesting it was cool seeing Thrawn but other than that just kinda a bore lore dump that didn't need to be explained. Hearing Grievous haunting laugh and seeing him fight and cut down the night sisters was awesome but it was short lived and really to me the only interesting part of the 3 eps. They also never explained or showed how she got her Beskar spear which I would have liked to known how it got in her hands.
All in all the animation was fantastic and seeing nostalgic characters was awesome. I am mainly mad cause I want to watch more and see what happens with the story's ,I feel like there was a lot left out there for Barriss story and her redemption ark and maybe a more interesting Empire Tale then the ones we got, I still believe in Dave and maybe he can redeem himself in the future with explanation in a future Tale or show which he loves to do for example *SPOILERS* the Zillows beast in Bad Batch make his return alsmot 10+ years after being introduced. I love Filoni and what he has done for Star Wars but with my finally thought "wtf Dave"😭
