Jan Halldorrf is, indeed, an incredible Swedish filmmakering, having helmed several prestigious dramas for the ages. So his ever impressive track record, combined with the modern day Swedish poet-songwriter Ulf Lundell's works, is bound for greatness.

And, just like the novel, this piece of art shines immensely through its incredible 70s vibe, raw tone and overall sense of art and realism. The actors all do an incredible job, as one would expect from such great names, very career defining, nuaned and emotional. Incredible dialogue, attested to by the great script, beautifully paced.

The cinematography, cutting and editing is incredible. Very unique, characteristic and beautifully put together.

Overall, definitely an incredible and ever recommended experience for any lover of film!
