We all know the bad seasons of The Walking Dead. I remained a loyal fan just because there wasn't much else good on tv at the time. But the acting was never the issue. Ever. This episode proves that. When Rick broke in this episode talking about Carl, I a grown man bawled like a baby.
What a masterclass in acting, and especially the writing from Danai. And to see them both finally start to head home while killing walkers in the hallway made me smile so big. Even after 7 years apart they just know what to do.
