Poor Things is an adventure of a movie. Totally unlike anything else. From the user reviews, we can read an enormous gap between praise and slaughter. But no one is unaffected by this film.
Don't expect linear storytelling, open your mind to play and fun. Emma Stone is a great talent who deserves all the praise and the Oscar statuette for her efforts in this film. Without her, perhaps this would not have become such a unique film? She gives the character Bella both substance, depth, layers and, not least, humor. The script is incredibly unpredictable, rich in content and certainly not to everyone's taste. But I have no doubt that this is a film you will remember.
I'm glad that someone dares to think "outside the box" in film. We need films in all genres, also innovative thinking and films that break boundaries in acting and script, like this one.
And yes, I almost forgot; beautifully filmed.
