Jason Herbison has done so much to bring back old favourites, yet he insists on ruining them by making them all the same and therefore unrelatable. Too many marriages, too many affairs, I don't like or trust any of them any more. After quitting daily watching years ago because the characters had become to bland and lost their individuality, I popped back for this double-milestone week only to find it is still the same problem. The reason Toadie/Mel and Terese/Paul broke up, was ridiculous but at least it was original and the characters were well-meaning but now we're just back into the same old boring stories Herbison continues to throw at the show.
