Definitely All Night Long by Lionel Richie is a huge favorite, and I remember Lionel performing All Night Long at the closing ceremony of the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984, and that was probably one of the most successful Summer Olympics in modern memory (apologies to Montreal and Sydney). Anyway, the enthusiasm in this song, the capturing the moment, the joy, and everything and all is caught up in this song and it's no surprise it lives on after over 40 years, yes that's four decades ago believe it or not. Anyway, this is a song that can be played for all occasions and maybe the British Proms orchestra can perform it.
