The Richmond team probably would have been knocked down to the next level whether Ted was there or not. Rebecca threw the dice and they lost early on. This episode is about a group of guys who did everything they could against the best team in the league (the one Jamie plays for now). Due to incredible goalkeeping, they managed to hang in there until a penalty kick put them behind. But perseverance gave them a chance and they took it, only to lose their focus for a brief moment. There is so much to this show. Lasso's bromides notwithstanding, it's about character and his love of the team. It is Rebecca finally warming to things. I'm curious how things will play out in the second season.
