Unusual Premise
6 February 2024
You could think of this film as a prequel to Dante's vision of the afterlife as he pictures it in Divine Comedy.

Is it hard to comprehend the state of unborn souls and the fate of those souls who are not born into an earthly life? It drives home the point that life on this earth matters; that we should cherish priceless moments that we become part of as we journey through life.

From the movie's point of view, life is priceless because not all souls can be born; that, in fact, life is a gift. It begs the question: when does the soul begin? Is it difficult to consider that when the soul is not born, it disappears into oblivion for all eternity? Perhaps, yes, because we haven't thought about this.

It's a thoughtful film. The message is something worth our time to ponder. Watch it.
