It was wonderful to see this portrayal of Asia. The children, the Christianity, the school setting, the Boba Tea, all of it! The relationships between the kids, and the teachers. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous! All of the loss made for tender moments where people could relate to each other in spite of language barriers. The reality of the sister being angry, feeling left alone to deal with their dying mom, gave pause for introspection. I loved the innocence of the adult relationship. And the excitement of the kids over their relationship was sweet and endearing. It's a beautiful movie that my husband and I will watch again.
