Animal abuse
30 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Animal abuse cannot simply be transmitted like this, we are no longer in medieval times. It was completely unnecessary to the story and barbaric. The initial disclaimer serves no purpose. Training surgeries on animals is ridiculous, their anatomy and physiology is completely different from ours (I'm a veterinarian). In other words, this episode used training pig surgeries as an excuse to show violence against animals.

The doctor at the end telling Cristina to kill the pigs because they would suffer from recovery is supposed to show empathy on his part???? The pigs would suffer in recovery from the surgery HE CAUSED when he STABBED them for no reason. In addition, there are painkillers and medication suitable for pigs as well. They are living beings.

It was a completely meaningless episode, it shouldn't even be shown on TV, we're living in the future last time I checked.
