Interesting first part to a two part finale

Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

The Expanse's ninth episode of the first season is entitled 'Critical Mass'. The episode picks up at the beginning of the entire Julie Mao arc where she became infected by the unknown biohazard on the Anubis. The episode follows Miller and the Rocinante crew as they track down the source of the mystery once and for all.

The ninth episode is a great episode. This episode is the culmination of many arcs and is a revelation for any audience members that were interested in Miller's arc. This episode made for a satisfying conclusion as well as an open end to how the conspirators are using the bioweapon. The episode does not have any solid answers but there are answers that are insinuated by the events in the episode.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger with Holden and Miller delving deeper into the Eros station to uncover the mystery. They receive a deadly dose of radiation with the Eros station locking down.

I would recommend the penultimate episode of The Expanse's first season.

Grade: B.
