Ares Killed It!!

Warning: Spoilers
A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers is an amazing episode. I've watched all of the 5 episodes of this series and they were all really good. Ares was obviously the best thing in this episode, and he truly kills it in this episode. Since episode 1 ( with an exception of episode 2 ), there has been a new monster or a new god ( or both ) in every episode , and Ares is the best so far. And before I thought Medusa was the best. Around when I Plunge to My Death ( S1 E4 ) was made, I was reading the title for the next Percy Jackson episode and it was called A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers. I remember reading the Percy Jackson book and remembering the Ares part, so I was excited for the Ares to come in the show. I obviously wasn't disappointed. I like how the actor for Ares played him. I think that the actor represented Ares very well. Ares is serious, he's kind of a hothead, and he wants to help Percy and his friends succeed. Well, maybe he doesn't because when he put Percy and others in the truck he grinned a sinister smile. Maybe he is evil. When Grover talks to him about following him and Athena, he first starts of as kind of a yes man. But then you realize that he's not just a yes man and he has his own feelings and own emotions. And the actor for Ares clearly represents it. I don't know his name but that actor looks very familiar to me. Anyway, I think the actor did a wonderful job as Ares. Just for him, I'm ranking up some extra points for this episode.

Another thing I want to talk about Percy and Annabeth's " excellent " " adventure". I mean, there adventure wasn't excellent because Percy almost died forever, but it wasn't bogus because Percy and Annabeth still got what they wanted. I think that this little ' adventure ' into the carnival is showing what the show could become. Yes, based on this, the show could become a romance show. Romance?!? This is Percy Jackson, and Percy Jackson shouldn't have anything to do with romance. I know that the show has been focusing on Annabeth more, and I like that, but it never crossed my mind that the were...together. Hopefully the show doesn't go through this path. In this I also saw how caring and heartful Annabeth is. At this point, I think that the whole show should be about Annabeth!! She got what she waned, but she still tried to save her friend ( and maybe but hopefully not crush ) until a god spectating helped Percy live. But let's not forget about Percy. In 2 episodes in a row ( S1 E4+5 ) Percy sacrificed himself for his friends. And I liked how the gods reward the characters for these actions because I personally think they should.

This episode had a little less action than a usual Percy Jackson episode, but it had much more heart than usual. Also this is probably the longest review I have ever written. In all, I give this episode a 8.6 out of 10.
