I wish they took a little more liberties with Medusa's character!

Warning: Spoilers
I was genuinely shocked at how they got away from the furies and how little reaction alecto has to her sister being killed. I love how much detail they added to this journey. The short conversations that each of them have with their personal developments and the challenges to their values and loyalties.

I find Grover's character to be really pure and his little song is so cute. I love the little social issue digs the show has without being too on the nose about things. Lin Manuel Miranda being Hermes was really surprising and funny. It's so interesting how we can compare the books and the original movies to this show. The upgrade to the graphics, contuinal relevancy to modern times and staying true to the original material and details meant a lot to me. While I wish they kept Annabeth's grey eyes and Percy's dark hair, I really appreciate how these kids protray the characters.

Their argument in the basement really shows that they're just kids, trying to figure things out. The Hero's Journey is given the full weight of stakes. Alecto's death could've had more screentime but I think they've encountered that character enough.

Excited to see more!
