Everyone is complaining about what a lousy Private SNAFU cartoon this is. Guess why? It's NOT a Private SNAFU cartoon, folks. It's an infomercial/propaganda piece animated by UPA (not Warners! From whence came SNAFU), for the US military. Yes, there is a brief appearance of a fellow who resembles SNAFU and as Mel Blanc did the voice, sounds like him too. But it is not a SNAFU, not meant to be a comedy.
