As others have said, this is not a horror movie. There are some supernatural elements but nothing really scary. There are some disturbing scenes, but not really scary.
This is a bunch of dialogue, and this makes the movie very slow, the movie doesn't really address the issues it brings up. Which are suicide, depression, mental health issues, and child abuse. It also mentions narcolepsy, which doesn't seem to be treated properly in this movie. This movie is from 2003 and should know that narcolepsy can be treated.
