Even though I pride myself in being a Tim Burton fan, I never gave Corpse Bride a chance until recently.
I recently went to Brussels to see the Tim Burton's Labyrinth experience which had of course Corpse Bride on display. I then promised myself I was going to watch it.
It wasn't until a good two weeks ago on a 12 and a half hour flight that I gave it a chance.
I expected less of the movie in terms of visuals but it was actually pretty good! The storyline itself I found to be very good as well, this movie would be categorized as a musical.
In terms of the colors and the claymation style I found it to be very similar to one of my favorite movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas. The storyline did not disappoint until the very last ending.
I will definitely rewatch this movie.
