Sugar Factory (2023)
1/10
Tone deaf snoozefest!
24 December 2023
Arya meets Aditi at Sugar Factory pub in Goa. Each other's friends are busy with their respective partners and that leads to a drunken night followed by a livestream of Arya and Aditi declare their love. It's a drunken mistake and keep up their egos, the two maintain a fake love relationship so that their friends don't think less of them. Eventually they give up and announce their break up. Arya realizes he has feelings for her yet refuses to accept he loves her and moves back to Mysuru where he meets Nandini. This time Nandini falls in love with him but he doesn't. Whatever happens to them is rest of the story.

This was an outright torturous affair to sit through the entire runtime. First and foremost, the lead actors had zero chemistry and there are two heroines for heaven's sake. The writing is so lackluster, the love story itself is not established throughout. One cannot invest in these bland characters till the end to realise they love each other when in no scene in the movie they act convincingly to showcase they are in love. Add to this, really cringe worthy dialogues ranging from terrible to offensive followed by poor skippable songs and really uninspired performances. Sugar Factory easily aims to be among the worst films of 2023.
