Okay, I get that the characters of Hank and Jake and Loren are merely portraying stereotypical small-minded bigots and hypocrites of the day but no matter how many times they're forced to eat humble pie, they never learn a single solitary thing. It's wearing thin. More time should be spent on Native American teachings than having Dr Mike tend to alcohol poisoning and starvation deaths. He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it. And as for Colleen leaving the show, she is not that good of an actress anyway. Getting shrill does not imbue one's lines with passion. It only makes the audience hit the mute button on the remote.
