Engaging character study of a very mixed group of individuals, at the beginning of the 20 century set in lovely landscapes. Surprising twists, emotional and thought provoking relationships which reflect many aspects of modern society, but never predictable. The filming is imaginative, and the editing requires concentration from the very start to solve the plot development. As an english viewer with limited french , I had to make use of the pause button to capture the subtitles, as they moved quickly , and the dialogue revealed much of the character subtleties. Trust and kindness, doesn't always make life easy, but adds value.
